A Fine Setting for Quality Dining
Dedicated
to the Good Taste of Food of the Land and Sea
Our commitment to the quality of food can only
truly be experienced
through a personal visit to taste it for yourself. Come and
experience
the traditional tastes of fresh home-cooked Scottish fayre.
Using
fresh meats, locally caught fish and fresh vegetables from
local
farms, we have created a menu as high in quality as those
of
Victorian Times. There is plenty to tempt you through our
classic
taste, like our Rich Steak Pie made from Scottish beef, to
our
freshly cooked roast of the day. Or how about something more
traditional like mince and tatties and garden peas, or haggis,
neeps
and chappit tatties. Remember those as bairns?... Or for something
lighter, home-made chicken liver paté, fresh garlic mushrooms
or
keep your appetite at bay with a hearty bowl of real home made
soups
including our famous Cullen Skink.
Our Scottish styled lunches bring together the freshest tastes
from both the land and sea and are offered 7 days a week.
Fine evening dining on Fridays and Saturdays brings together
even more Scottish tastes like freshly home caught Scottish
Salmon, and from the sea come fresh haddock, cod and fresh
mussels. For those who enjoy steaks, sirloin and fillet are
cooked to your liking, with all the traditional trimmings,
yours to enjoy. Sundays are extra special in The Feuars, as
we serve a real traditional favourite; our famous Victorian
High Teas. Our main courses are accompanied with hot buttered
toast and finished off with freshly baked scones and pancakes:
home baking that your granny would be proud of!
